Over the last ten years I have been avidly pursuing a love of 3d graphics, experimenting with rendering techniques, such as farm rendering and dome corrected simulations. Following a series of commissions and workshop teaching I embarked on an MSC and subsequent lecturing at the University of Plymouth.

My MSC led to an interest in real time 3d graphic production, which coincided with the creation of the IVT (Immersion Vision Theater) at the University of Plymouth where I currently hold a research post and develop media content.

I work with a range of disciplines across the University developing bespoke simulations to support research and teaching. My work in the IVT has lead to a range of collaborations with industry, producing animations and models for installations and shows (such as Intech and the Houses of Parliament. One of the latest live projects has been for Devon Marine Wildlife trust which consists of composited bespoke data (bathymetry, xml, population density maps) into various 3d video productions which led to the introduction of a 60sq mile exclusion zone in Lyme Bay - the first of its kind on this scale in the UK.
