STAR is part of a collaborative team led by the architects DrMM (Derijke Marsh Morgan) who have recently won a competition 'School Works' organised by The Architecture Foundation and Design Council (with a budget of £10m from the Department of Education and Employment and Southwark Council). As well as changes to traditional learning spaces of the school itself, the proposal includes the parallel development of online virtual environments and draws upon a developing partnership that includes VERTEX (Middlesex University) and inIVA (institute of International Visual Arts).
